I've been thinking a lot about college lately. I want to do so many things with my life, I don't know where to start. Lemme try:
I want to be a Christian psychologist.
--A Christian psychologist. Sounds strange, right? Almost like the two words shouldn't be together. But I'm gonna make it work. I'm sure of it because I won't let anything stop me.
I want to travel.
I want to play my guitar and sing at random coffee shops and restaurants.
I want to get married.
I want to publish my writing.
I want to learn how to dance.
--Lyrical, ballroom, or something like that. Something graceful.
That's all I can think of right now... Goodness. How am I going to achieve all of this?
I've been looking at a lot of colleges, too. Here are the ones I like so far in no particular order:
Belhaven
Auburn
UT Chattanooga
Rhodes
Appalachian State

ReplyDeleteare you planning on combining the 2 in some unusual way?
and kudos for looking at colleges early
ReplyDeleteWoah.
ReplyDeleteThat's really ambicious.
I hope it all works out for you (yn)
And I admire your perservierance.
You WILL make it work, You're great :)
You should publish now!
ReplyDeleteJust cause you're in high school doesn't mean you have to wait till you're out of it to start.
I want to publish something in this essay contest I know about, but that would mean I would actually have to sit down and actually finish writing something. :)
YFP- Okay, sounds great. I'm excited about visiting.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I know they're heard of and stuff. Its just that in psychology I'd have to be careful of what I say because I have to be politically correct all the time. Psychologist can't say things like, "You're this way because you sleep with everything that breathes. Maybe you should change your lifestyle." But I want to do something about it. I'm not sure what, yet.
Thanks! A lotta of my senior friends are stressing out because they don't know where they're going to go. So I'm hoping I'm doing myself a favor.
Dannie- Thank you! I appreciate it.
melee- I don't even know where to start or who to go to. I have some things that I want to get just right. Good luck on the essay contest!
Yeah...I missed the deadling stressing out about my surgery. Oops. Better luck next time.
ReplyDeleteIf you get in contact with some magazines, or the school newspaper, or a contest, you can definitely try to publish. I'll try and find something for you.
Gossett loves Rhodes, thats all I know.
